Being prepared for learning ahead

Untitled-146

All the world is a laboratory to the enquiring mind. – Martin H. Fischer
One of my duties is to do the final edits on articles that are to be posted to the Kuza Biashara site. In the short span I have been doing this I have gone through over 100 articles. Although it can, at times, get tedious I have found that nearly each article that comes by me has a new lesson. Now by the term ‘lesson’ I mean any aspect that is new to me, be it a word, an idea or an innovation.

“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow”. – Anthony J. D’angelo

In addition to writing my articles a lot of research goes behind doing the stories and this, my friends, is absolute fun! I am led through so many sites that I normally wouldn’t go to and as a result have developed an interest in technology. If you thought I was a geek before, then meet me now. I don’t think a single morning has gone by that I haven’t sought an encounter with to learn something new each time.

If you set your mind to it, then the world could be a treasure trove of ideas. The simple act of writing a blog turns into an opportunity to find quotes that inspire (It’s a new learning!). A walk to the bus stop becomes lesson on street lingo (hakuna ‘Ngata’- do you understand what that means? No, it means there is no fuel). What’s more, even the fun derived from shopping may come with some learning about new products. You only need to keep your eyes open to what new you may stumble upon.
