Learning about equality and self confidence

Untitled-177

Treat others fairly in word or deed, and also look after yourself in the same manner.
We had gone to cover an event and at their registration we met two ladies who asked us for our press cards, one was friendly but the other one was the total opposite. I tried to explain our predicament and one of the ladies seemed to understand and asked me for my card and quickly prepared our entry cards. The other lady was anything but helpful, and I do believe it was because we looked so young. Now say, we were vindictive people and gave the whole event bad press as a result of one lady with a lot of attitude, wouldn’t that be unfortunate.

Judging others by their appearance can lead one to form bad misconceptions and can also be very problematic for one and their business at the end of the day. There are many influential people out there whose appearance does not fit in with the power they wield. Mark Zuckerberg for example is commonly seen in jeans and trainers. Richard Branson is rarely seen in a tie and our very own CEO, Sriram Bharatam is known to prefer more casual dress.

Long story short, do not judge others by appearance

Self Confidence

Having the self-confidence to achieve what you want, realize you can if you think you can. Everything is possible if you believe, and I believe I can be all that I want to be.
