Life at Kuza Biashara

Untitled-144

The week has started on a very high note – joining the team running. The work ethic is amazing, the teamwork and cohesiveness is great; to say the least!!

Writing has been my pet subject for the past 5 or so years. I have always found writing quite intriguing. Part of my tasks at Kuza Biashara is writing. So one might say that I should and will be in my element and as such it will be a walk in the park. However it isn’t all roses and sunshine. Why? My kind of writing is predominantly NGO based and thus, informed – structure, language, wordings and length. At Kuza Biashara its the direct opposite, straight like an arrow and thus, to the point. SURPRISE! However by all intents and purposes, I will certainly learn and…….perfect the ropes.

I used to despise staff meetings, I would do anything and everything to wiggle my way out of one and preferably, all. On 1st June 2012, I saw what looked like an outright argument, just that it wasn’t. It was a “huddle”. The equivalent of a staff meeting just much more regularized, precise and short enough for my liking. Now here, I will look forward to the meeting…..err……huddles.

Next week looks to be even greater when I meet the all-intelligent torchbearer as I have come to learn; Mr. Sreekanth!
